Girard-Perregaux
Switzerland · Founded 1791
Traces its lineage to a Geneva workshop founded in 1791 by Jean-Francois Bautte; the Girard-Perregaux name and La Chaux-de-Fonds manufacture date from Constant Girard's 1852 firm and his 1856 marriage to Marie Perregaux. Best known for the Tourbillon with Three (Gold) Bridges architecture dating to the 1860s-1880s. Owned by Kering from 2011 until a 2022 management buyout returned it to independent ownership.
