Seiko
Japan · Founded 1881
Started as Kintaro Hattori's Tokyo watch and clock shop; the Seikosha factory followed in 1892 and the first Japanese-made wristwatch, the Laurel, arrived in 1913. Vertically integrated, designing and manufacturing its own movements in-house.
